A day at Foster Kids Preschool

Greeting Time
Our little champs will be welcomed at the gate by our facilitator holding beautiful puppets in hand. Each kid will be greeted with a smile to build that instant connection and comfort that a child looks for. Not only this, but each child will get to choose his/her own handshake, high five, dance step, hug etc. to enter in the class. This helps in making each child feel special, not to mention the fun it will provide.

Circle Time
Our little champs will start their day with circle time. This develops interactive competency and helps them to build positive relationships with each other. Circle time will also focus on improving other fundamental skills, like listening, fine motor and gross motor skills. This,is turn, will keep the kids motivated to attend school daily. Circle time also engages the kids in activities ranging from meditation, tongue twisters, concept clearance etc.

Concept Time
Foster kids  follows a theme based learning approach which runs throughout the year. Each month one theme will be taken up, around which the curriculum will revolve. Our  kids will learn through various concepts and activities.

Rhyme Time
At Fosterkids, rhymes are done with music and dance to enhance learner’s confidence and talent together with musical skills. Children will enjoy this session with their facilitators and peer groups using different kind of props.

Tummy Time
Fosterkids provides healthy and nutritious meals to the children . Meal plans are devised under the able guidance of a nutritionist . The Children will be able to enjoy and feel encouraged towards eating healthy meals and snacks, in a friendly social setting.

Montessori Time
Under this plan, the students will be divided into different groups. Some groups will be involved in learning with equipment, while other groups will be immersed in library reading time. Children will be encouraged to pick and choose the learning equipment or a book from the library, while the facilitators will be connected to each child individually and they will be asking them thought provoking questions to raise the child’s curiosity and inquisitiveness towards learning.

Activity Time
Our little champs will get to take part in various activities, both in groups and individually as well. The activity will be related to the theme of the month. Each child will be encouraged and supported to perform the activities on their own.

Worksheet Time
Under our foster kids program, a worksheet will be given each week to inculcate thinking skills in our children. It will help them retain their focus and pay attention to the work given.

 Outdoor Play Time
Sports will be our focus area when it comes to the physical development of the children. We will ensure their kicks, punches, races will lead to their natural growth in a positive way. This will happen when the children have fun and enjoy what they are doing. For this our colourful play area, park side and garden will be the star attraction. Such play time will help them develop gross motor skills.

Recapitulation Time
This will be the time to revise the concept done throughout the day. Our facilitators will put up questions to the children. They will be motivated by getting stars and smileys, making them interested in the class.

Dispersal Time
Our children will wash their hands, clean their faces and use the washroom before leaving for the day. They will wave goodbyes to their friends and facilitators, with the promise to meet the next day.
